What do School Social Workers do?

A School Social Worker works to increase student success by bridging the gaps between the school, parents, and the community. Social workers remove barriers to education and promote students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic improvement by collaborating with instructional staff, families, and community based agencies to identify and address students' needs.
